Please select the division where you want to compete. Gross Division is for low-handicap players who want to play scratch. There will be only a single gross division.

Net Division is for players who want to play with their handicaps in a flighted bracket. **Net flight winners qualify for the 2023 Dam Cup! **

If you do not select a division, we will default to the Net Division.

Rules

Participants must be available to play on weekends. It's perfectly ok to schedule matches during the week, but please register only if you also have weekends available to play.

Flights and brackets will be drawn after entries close and posted online on the Match Play page.

Players may elect to play in the scratch flight (select gross at signup) or handicapped flights (select net at signup). Scratch flight will play from the blue tees. Handicap flights will play from the club tees (the new white/blue combination). Players who signed up to play from the forward tees for the season will play from the gold/white combination tees.

Handicap flights will be established based on handicap at the time of entry. Every entrant must have an established USGA handicap. Handicaps used for a given match will be each player's course handicap on the day of the match.

Format is individual Match Play. Scratch Flight will play their matches without handicaps. The Handicapped Flights will play their matches using each player’s course handicap at the time that each match is played. After determining current handicaps, the player with the lowest handicap will play at zero and other players will receive strokes based on the difference between their respective handicaps. Strokes are allocated equally between the two nines, with any odd numbered strokes applied to the more difficult course.

Any player(s) receiving round 1 byes (in unfilled divisions) must win one match in order to be eligible for prize money.

Scheduling Matches

It is YOUR responsibility as a player in this event to schedule your match. DO NOT wait for your opponent to contact you. Contact your opponent as soon as pairings are assigned.

Matches must be played prior to the deadline for that round. Players who fail to schedule a match or make other arrangements prior to the posted deadline are subject to be disqualified. In the event both players fail to schedule a match before the deadline, the tournament chairman shall have the right to determine the match by a coin flip.

Match Deadlines
  1. Round 1: May 29
  2. Round 2: June 25
  3. Round 3: July 23
  4. Round 4: August 13

It is important that you get your match completed on time because there is a cascade effect to the next rounds when that happens. We also need the flighted brackets completed in time to make Dam Cup selections.

If you have any difficulty scheduling your match prior to the established deadline, please contact the Season Long Match Play Tournament Chairs.

Ties

In the event a match ends up “all square” after 18 holes of play, a sudden death playoff should be arranged with the pro-shop. Should a sudden death playoff not be possible (due to darkness, weather or course business) another form of tie-breaker may be substituted if both players agree (chip off, coin flip, etc.)
