All NET flight winners qualify for the 2026 Dam Cup!
Rules
Participants must be available to play on Saturday, May 30. Everyone will be playing their first match on this date. Your pairing will include your second round opponent as well (assuming you win, of course).
After round 1, winners will schedule their own June matches. You must have weekend times available. It's perfectly ok to schedule matches during the week, but please register only if you also have weekends available to play.
Flights and brackets will be drawn after entries close and posted online on the Match Play page.
All flights will play from the club tees (the new white/blue combination). Players who signed up to play from the forward tees for the season will play from the gold/white combination tees.
Handicap flights will be established based on handicap at the time of entry. Every entrant must have an established USGA handicap. Handicaps used for a given match will be each player's course handicap on the day of the match. After determining current handicaps, the player with the lowest handicap will play at zero and other players will receive strokes based on the difference between their respective handicaps. Strokes are allocated equally between the two nines, with any odd numbered strokes applied to the more difficult course. The order of difficulty from hardest to hard is 1. West, 2. North, 3. East.
Any player(s) receiving round 1 byes (in unfilled divisions) must win one match in order to be eligible for prize money.
Scheduling Matches
It is YOUR responsibility as a player in this event to schedule your match. DO NOT wait for your opponent to contact you. Contact your opponent as soon as pairings are assigned.
Matches must be played prior to the deadline for that round. Players who fail to schedule a match or make other arrangements prior to the posted deadline are subject to be disqualified. In the event both players fail to schedule a match before the deadline, the tournament chairman shall have the right to determine the match by a coin flip.
Match Deadlines
- Round 1: May 30
- Round 2: June 28
- Round 3: July 26
- Round 4: August 16
It is important that you get your match completed on time because there is a cascade effect to the next rounds when that happens. We also need the brackets completed in time to make Dam Cup selections.
If you have any difficulty scheduling your match prior to the established deadline, please contact the 2026 Match Play Tournament Chairs.
Ties
In the event a match ends up “all square” after 18 holes of play, a sudden death playoff should be arranged with the pro-shop. If at all possible, you should try to continue your match on the same hole that you started on. Should a sudden death playoff not be possible (due to darkness, weather or course business) another form of tie-breaker may be substituted if both players agree (chip off, coin flip, etc.)
